We proudly hold organic certifications for all 256 acres of our vineyards, a testament to our unwavering dedication to eliminating synthetic chemicals and fostering a thriving, biologically diverse ecosystem.

Our holistic approach to soil management begins with the careful cultivation of nutrient-rich compost, made from a diverse array of organic materials harvested right here on our estate. Water Conservation Practices

Organic Certification

Organic farming practices have been the cornerstone of our viticulture since the very beginning. In 1997, when Moe and Flora Momtazi first purchased the land that would become Maysara Winery, they made the conscious decision to forego the use of synthetic chemicals and instead embrace a more natural, sustainable approach.

Today, our vineyards are certified organic by the California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) organization, ensuring that every aspect of our farming operations adheres to the strictest environmental standards. This certification not only reflects our commitment to sustainable practices but also serves as a testament to the exceptional quality of the grapes we produce.

Biodynamic Principles
